The Foundation for Microprojects in Vietnam is a non-profit, non-governmental
organization (NGO) based in Switzerland and funded by the private donations
of its founder and other individual supporters.
FMV is seeking funds to finance microprojects targeting ethnic minorities
in the Central Highlands provinces of Dak Nong and Kontum. FMV is seeking
US$250,000 to finance 6 projects in 2010-11.
Following missions to the area in December 2009 and May 2010, FMV approved the following
projects in Dak Nong and Kontum Provinces to be carried out in 2010-2011. Each
of these projects were individually assessed by FMV during a mission to
the two provinces and detailed project proposals have been prepared by the
local authorities.
The following photos were taken at the sites of the proposed
new projects prior to their being implemented.
