A joint mission was undertaken by FMV together with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs from 29 November-5 December 2009 to assess proposed projects in Dak Nong Province for 2010 and to evaluate completed projects in Kontum Province.

A joint mission was undertaken between the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and FMV to evaluate completed projects in Gia Lai and Dak Nong Provinces from 26-30 October 2009.

A joint mission was undertaken between FMV and athe Korean Education Fund (KEF) to evaluate the completion of 2 middle schools in Kangwon Province, Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The mission took place from 8-15 November 2008 and found that both projects had been very well done with a full and detailed accounting of expenditures. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Korea Education Fund on 14 November 2008 whereby FMV will continue to assist in the construction of 2 primary schools in South Hwanghae Province in 2009.

A joint mission between FMV and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to Gia Lai and Kontum Provinces took place from 6-12 October 2008 to evaluate project proposals for 2008-2009. A total of 7 projects were selected for some $280,000.

FMV has received a request from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to consider the construction of 2 middle schools in Kangwon Province. A mission visited DPRK from 16-26 February 2008 to evaluate the proposals and signed an agreement with the Korea Education Fund (KEF) in Pyongyang to carry them out.

FMV met with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on 13 February 2008 to discuss possible assistance to the Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai and Kontum. A joint mission to Gia Lai and Kontum provinces took place during the week of 12-15 March 2008 to discuss proposals for possible assistance in 2008 with the local authorities.

During this period, FMV has financed 55 projects, including irrigation systems, drinking water systems, primary schools, secondary schools, bridges, health clinics and rural roads.
